## Henry County's three-time FFA president launches connected BarnBuddy animal-care apps

### BarnBuddy Animal Owner and BarnBuddy Care Provider securely exchange selected records without requiring a BarnBuddy account

**HENRY COUNTY, Ky. — [INSERT LIVE RELEASE DATE]** — Glenn Mills, a three-time FFA president in Henry County, has launched BarnBuddy Animal Owner and BarnBuddy Care Provider, two connected apps created to make everyday animal records easier to capture, share, review, and find.

Farmers, families, and members of the media can explore BarnBuddy features, view app screens, and find support resources at the official website, **https://barnbuddy.info**.

BarnBuddy Animal Owner gives farms and animal owners one place to organize animal and group records, treatments, vaccinations, farm events, tasks, medication and supply inventory, equipment, photos, veterinary PDFs, and calendar dates. It includes dedicated workflows for cattle, horses, donkeys, goats, swine, poultry, alpacas, bee hives, dogs, and cats.

"FFA taught me that good records, practical problem-solving, and service to agriculture matter," Mills said. "BarnBuddy grew from those same values. I wanted farmers to have something professional enough to keep useful records but simple enough to use while the work is actually happening."

Farmers can photograph animals, medication labels, supplies, and equipment; connect treatments and events to the correct animal or group; record meat, milk, egg, or honey withdrawal periods; and turn follow-up work into dated tasks. A visual farm screen provides quick access to animals, care records, equipment, weather, and upcoming work.

Both apps are local-first and require no separate BarnBuddy account. An owner and care provider establish a trusted connection with a six-digit code. Either connected partner can then initiate a secure cloud transfer of selected records; the other app downloads the package, shows progress, and applies or presents the received changes. Records are not continuously synchronized, and transfers occur only when a connected user initiates them.

Each app includes a 30-day full-feature trial. BarnBuddy Animal Owner has a one-time $19.99 lifetime unlock. BarnBuddy Care Provider has a one-time $49.99 lifetime unlock. Neither app requires a recurring subscription.

"Henry County has always had people who combine agricultural knowledge with an independent, practical spirit," Mills said. "I am proud to introduce BarnBuddy here first and invite local farmers to help shape where it goes next."

BarnBuddy Care Provider is available now for veterinarians and trusted animal-care professionals. It can receive owner-selected records and return provider-attributed clinical records, care updates, photos, PDFs, events, and other accepted changes to the connected Animal Owner app. Future plans focus on optional backup and expanded team-management tools.

BarnBuddy Animal Owner and BarnBuddy Care Provider are available for iPhone, iPad, and Android as supported by each store listing. Learn more, view real app screens, and find support information at **https://barnbuddy.info**.
