## Henry County's three-time FFA president launches BarnBuddy farm-record app

### Locally created iPhone and Android app helps farms organize animal records, treatments, tasks, photos, equipment, and important dates

**HENRY COUNTY, Ky. — [INSERT LIVE RELEASE DATE]** — Glenn Mills, a three-time FFA president in Henry County, has launched BarnBuddy, a colorful farm-recordkeeping app created to make everyday agricultural records easier to capture and find.

BarnBuddy gives farmers one place to organize animal and group records, treatments, vaccinations, farm events, tasks, medication and supply inventory, equipment, photos, veterinary PDFs, and calendar dates. The app includes dedicated workflows for cattle, horses, goats, swine, poultry, alpacas, bee hives, dogs, and cats.

"FFA taught me that good records, practical problem-solving, and service to agriculture matter," Mills said. "BarnBuddy grew from those same values. I wanted farmers to have something professional enough to keep useful records but simple enough to use while the work is actually happening."

Farmers can photograph animals, medication labels, supplies, and equipment; connect treatments and events to the correct animal or group; record meat, milk, egg, or honey withdrawal periods; and turn follow-up work into dated tasks. A visual farm screen provides quick access to animals, care records, equipment, weather, and upcoming work.

BarnBuddy Version 1 is local-first. It does not require a separate BarnBuddy account, does not contain advertising, and does not automatically upload farm records or photographs to BarnBuddy servers. Records remain on the device where they are entered, so users are encouraged to maintain a current phone backup.

The app includes a seven-day full-feature trial. Farmers can then unlock BarnBuddy permanently with a one-time $19.99 purchase. There is no recurring subscription for Version 1.

"Henry County has always had people who combine agricultural knowledge with an independent, practical spirit," Mills said. "I am proud to introduce BarnBuddy here first and invite local farmers to help shape where it goes next."

Future plans include optional secure backup, farm-team features, and BarnBuddy Vet, a separate professional system designed to let farms invite a veterinarian and receive clearly attributed veterinary records. Those capabilities are not included in Version 1.

BarnBuddy is available for iPhone and Android. Learn more, view real app screens, and find support information at **https://barnbuddy.info**.
